Action Research

As a behavioral scientist, Kaitlin focuses on creating sustainable communities through effective programming that fosters voluntary behavior change. She enjoys helping organizations understand and overcome the challenges their audience faces to action. Over the past 7 years, she has applied this expertise in a multitude of environmental and sustainability topics, including recycling, composting, water conservation, forest conservation, and energy. Her work has been published in the Journal of Applied Environmental Education & Communication, the Washington State Recycling Association newsletter, the International Association of Fairs & Expos magazine, BioCycle and Resource Recycling. She has an M.S. in Behavior, Education, and Communication, University of Michigan, School of Natural Resources & Environment.
