Jim Jensen has broad technical knowledge and experience about resource management, clean energy, and climate change. Consulting for governments, he launched cost-effective, climate-friendly programs for waste prevention, reuse, recycling, and composting programs. In the private sector, Jim built a successful organic soil products business advancing innovative methods to convert waste residuals, followed by an executive role with a national company developing carbon credit markets. Now at the Washington State University Energy Program, Jim provides research, analysis, technical assistance, and policy support for bioenergy and alternative fuels to state and local government agencies, tribes, and NGOs.
